About Lauren
Hi. I’m Lauren.
I’m a photographer based in Boca Raton, Florida, and I’ve been shooting portraits and lifestyle photography in South Florida for years. But honestly — I’m more than a photographer. I’m a storyteller.
Why Photography
I didn’t pick up a camera because I wanted a career. I picked one up because I noticed that the moments that matter most have a way of slipping past unnoticed. The laugh that happens between the posed shots. The way a couple looks at each other when they think no one’s watching. The chaos of a family morning that feels exhausting in the moment and priceless a decade later.
Photography is how I slow that down.
What I Believe
I believe that the best photos aren’t taken. They’re created — through trust, through ease, through making people forget there’s a camera in the room.
I believe that every family, every brand, and every business in South Florida has a story worth telling well. Not a generic story. Their story.
And I believe that images should make you feel something — not just look good on a wall.
Life in Boca Raton
I live in Boca Raton and I love it here. The light is different in South Florida than anywhere else I’ve ever been — that golden hour on the beach is something you have to experience to understand.
When I’m not shooting, you’ll find me at one of Boca’s coffee shops, exploring a new restaurant in Delray Beach, or walking the beach at Spanish River Park.
Some of my favorite places in South Florida:
- Coffee: My go-to is a local Boca Raton spot with great natural light (perfect for brand sessions too)
- Dinner: The Delray Beach restaurant scene is endlessly great
- Photo scouting: Spanish River Park at golden hour, every time
- Creative recharge: Morikami Museum — the Japanese gardens are stunning
